Esta noche, en el Iguazú Grand Hotel, estarán presentes los bailarines del Teatro Colón, el ensamble de China, el trío de cuerdas de Estados Unidos y la gran banda de jazz de Suiza.
Al inicio de cada uno de los conciertos del gran festival, un grupo de jóvenes reciben alimentos que son juntados para llevar a los comedores escolares de la zona. La acción fue acompañada por los espectadores de los espectáculos que han llevado polenta, arroz, leche, azúcar, entre otros; así como también empresarios privados desde asociaciones, hoteleros, empresas gastronómicas, entre otras, que han colaborado.
Camila Portillo es alumna del BOP 106 de Puerto Iguazú y es una de las jóvenes que tomó la posta de generar una acción solidaria en el marco del desarrollo del mega festival de orquestas. “Empezamos realizando un proyecto en el que ayudamos a una familia carenciada de nuestro barrio, eso nos hizo sentir muy bien y por eso quisimos formar parte de este proyecto”, dijo sobre la campaña.
“Cuando vas y ayudas, te llevas la sonrisa de la gente que es beneficiada y te hace muy bien”, agregó al respecto. Ella, junto a un grupo de jóvenes, se reúnen en el ingreso a cada uno de los conciertos para recibir los alimentos no perecederos que el público acerca.
Colaboran con la campaña la fundación London Supply, la subsecretaría de Protección Civil y la subsecretaría de Educación, a través de la dirección de Políticas Socieducativas.
